A Electronic Refund Check (ERC) is a bank product from River City Bank. Your preparer will E-File your taxes to the IRS and submit your application for an ERC to the bank.
The wait time for your check is approximately 10-14 days.
Your fees will be taken from your refund check, so there are no up front costs.
This is an excellent product if you do not have a bank account. River City Bank will open a temporary account to recieve your refund. Your tax preparer will print the check in their office for you to pick up the same day as the deposit is received.
With this product you can choose to recieve your money via check or on a debit card. If you don't have a bank account a debit card can save you a high check cashing fee.
The bank fee for this product is $26. This does not include your preparation or filing fees.
